

About Sara
Sara Warth has worked in a wide array of nursing fields in a career spaning over thirty years. Her experience includes work in Occupational Health, Post Anesthesia Care, Neuro Trauma, Medical Surgical, Intensive Care, Cardio-Vascular Intensive Care, and as a Nurse Educator. While working in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Alta Bates Summitt in Oakland, CA, she served on the board of the Contra Costa Association of Critical Care Nurses --including two terms as president.
Sara has furthered her education throughout her career, completing an MSN in 2011, and she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2015; Her DNP capstone, Peer Support for the Second Victim, studied the after effects of medical errors, and developed solutions for the care provider who was involved in an error.
She has served as a nurse educator, teaching tomorrow's nurses at Carrington College, Sacramento, CA; Breckenridge School of Nursing, Rancho Cordova, CA; and at Samuel Merritt University, Sacramento, CA.
